下平晃道（しもだいらあきのり）：京都在住。東京造形大学で彫刻を学び、卒業後は、Murgraph（マーグラフ）名義でグラフィックデザインとイラストレーションを中心に活動。書籍装画、アニメーション等の仕事に携わる他、「下平晃道」名義で個展やグループ展も数多く行っている。
2025年に「色彩と感情の関係」をテーマとした研究で、京都工芸繊維大学の博士（学術）を取得。多田玲子との共同レーベル「GOLDEN BUTTER BOOKS」からリソグラフプリントを中心にしたZINEを発行している。

Akinori Shimodaira: Based in Kyoto. He studied sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University, and after graduating began working primarily in graphic design and illustration under the name Murgraph, taking on projects such as book cover art and animation.
Under his own name, he has also held numerous solo and group exhibitions. In 2025 he received his Ph.D. in Academic Studies from Kyoto Institute of Technology for research on the relationship between color and emotion. Together with Reiko Tada, he runs the joint label GOLDEN BUTTER BOOKS, through which they publish zines centered on risograph printing.
